How to export your trade history from Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers exports through Client Portal. For a journal, an Activity Statement or a reusable Activity Flex Query saved as CSV is the cleanest route.

Export your fills from Interactive Brokers

Sign in to Client Portal and open the Performance & Reports menu.
For a one-off, choose Statements, select Activity, set your date range, and pick CSV. For a repeatable export, choose Flex Queries instead.
For a Flex Query, create an Activity Flex Query, add the Trades section with all fields selected, and save it.
Run the statement or query, choose CSV as the format, and download the file.

Good to know

IBKR caps each export at one year. If your history goes back further, run it once per year and import each file; duplicates across files are skipped.
An Activity Flex Query is worth setting up once, then re-running for new date ranges without reconfiguring it.
