Partner programme · 50% recurring, no tier to climb
Earn 50% of what we collect from the traders you send
If you write about trading tools, run a newsletter, or teach options, this is the whole offer with nothing held back. The rate is 50% from your first referral. There is no volume tier to climb to reach it, and no 12-month cut-off after which it stops.
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| Commission | 50% of every invoice we collect, from your first referral |
| Duration | Every invoice the customer pays, with no 12-month cap |
| Rate lock | Your rate is held for 12 months from the day you join, so changing our standard terms cannot reduce a deal already agreed |
| Cookie | 90 days |
| Attribution | First touch. The first partner link a visitor clicks is the one credited, permanently |
| Basis | Money actually collected, after any discount, not list price |
| Hold | 30 days before a commission becomes payable |
| Payout | Cash for publishers, or account credit if you would rather have that |
| Signups | Pay nothing. A commission exists only once an invoice is paid |
What a referral is actually worth
Worth stating plainly, because 50% of a cheap plan can be less money than 30% of an expensive one, and you should be able to check our arithmetic rather than take the headline rate on trust.
Referred traders get 20% off their first three months, applied automatically. Commission is calculated on what we collect, so that discount comes out of both our shares. Here is a full first year on our monthly plans, with the discount already deducted.
| Plan | First 3 months | Months 4 to 12 | You earn, year one |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro, $39/mo | $31.20 | $39.00 | $222.30 |
| Plus, $19/mo | $15.20 | $19.00 | $108.30 |
Annual plans pay the same 50% of whatever we collect on the invoice. We are not printing a worked figure for those yet, because how the three-month discount applies to a single annual invoice is something we are still confirming, and a number we have not verified is worse than no number.
How attribution works
Your link is tickerreplay.com/r/YOURCODE. Clicking it sets a first-party cookie that lasts 90 days and sends the visitor to the page you chose. When they create an account, that signup is attributed to you.
Attribution is first touch and it is permanent. If a visitor later clicks somebody else's link before signing up, you keep the credit. We chose this over last touch because last touch rewards whoever gets a link in front of a signup at the final moment, which is not the same as whoever did the work of persuading them.
You can point your link at any public page: the free journal template, a lesson, a comparison page, or pricing. Add ?to= and the path, for example /r/YOURCODE?to=/templates/excel-trading-journal, which is the ungated spreadsheet and usually the easiest thing to recommend.
When you get paid
A commission is created when Stripe confirms an invoice was paid, never on a signup. It then sits for 30 days before becoming payable, because a refund or a dispute inside that window reverses it. After the hold it is marked payable and we pay it.
Nothing about your earnings is retroactive. The rate stored against your account is the rate applied to each commission at the moment it is recorded, so a later change to our standard terms cannot rewrite what you have already earned.
What we ask of you
- Disclose the relationship. If you link us from a review or a roundup, say the link is commissioned. The FTC requires it and readers notice when it is missing
- Rank us where we deserve to be ranked. We would rather be fourth in an honest table than first in a bought one, and a partner who inflates us costs us more than they earn
- Do not describe features we do not have. If you are unsure what we do with spreads, rolls or assignments, ask and we will tell you precisely
- No bidding on our brand name in paid search, and no coupon-scraping sites
How to join
By email, for now. There is no self-serve partner signup yet: we set each partner up by hand, which means we read what you publish first and you get a real answer rather than an automated approval. Write to hello@tickerreplay.com with where you would place us and we will send your link and terms.
We reply to every enquiry, including the ones we turn down.
Common questions
Is the 50% really available from the first referral?
Yes. There is no bronze or silver tier and no referral count to reach first. The rate is stored against your account when you join and applies to your first paid invoice.
Does the commission stop after 12 months?
No. A commission is recorded against every invoice the customer pays, with no cut-off date. The 12-month figure in our terms is the rate lock, which is a promise that we will not reduce your percentage during that period, not a limit on how long you earn.
Why is commission based on collected revenue rather than list price?
Because referred traders get 20% off for three months, and some customers pay annually or in another currency. Paying on what actually landed in the account is the only basis that stays honest across all of those. It does mean your first three months on a referral are smaller, which is why the worked figures above have the discount already taken out.
What happens if a customer refunds?
The commission reverses if the refund or dispute lands inside the 30-day hold. Once a commission has been paid out it stays paid; we do not claw back from a later statement.
Do I need an account to be a partner?
No. Publishers do not need to be customers, and we do not expect you to recommend something you have not used, so ask and we will give you a Pro account to test against your own trade history.
Can I see clicks and conversions?
Yes. The partner screen shows clicks and signups over the same rolling 30 days so you can read a conversion rate off it, your all-time signup count, and every commission with its state and hold date. It names no customer: you are owed money, not told who signed up.
